:It won't cost $40,000 to prepare the engine in the 350 for higher boost. You can probably get away with just using lower compression pistons.
:Lots of guys have turbocharged their VQ Maximas and I don't see them dishing out $40k to do it.
:Since the high compression ratio is the weak point for forced induction, you can get away with lowering the CR. If you were going for a drag racing record or a dyno record for most powerful 350, it will cost you. But just having a higher boost 350Z can probably be done by lowering the CR.
:In any event, way below $40k

i'll bet $100.oo you can run a safe 4-5psi on the 350 stock high compression block. single or twin.
and for those who aren't too smart, thats roughly an addition 60-80rwhp.
